The secret to productivity, I suspect, is to give yourself as little free time as possible. I am achieving this through a combination of school, work, martial arts, Portuguese lessons, guitar lessons, and homework for a few of the above. When I get home I’m so used to doing this or that activity that I feel I simply must continue and make something of my free hours. It’s worked so far.
With this has come the acceptance that I will not excel in absolutely everything I am doing within the next six months. Though I will become better at them all, I am going through school right now, saving to buy a house, etc. It’s ok if I haven’t gotten to a level of skill in everything right away. I can live with it – I have projects and they are going well.
