I dunno. Lyrics for me are the most important element of hip hop. Yes, they come before the loops and beats. I wont listen to a great deal of hip hop simply based on lyrical content. I don’t care how fucking ill the beats are. You should never let garbage come out of your mouth. There are a shit load of words in whichever language you use. Try to pick those that make you sound intelligent.
