I just received word from Podshow that my GoDaddy promo code page has become ridiculously popular. In case you’re not familiar with what these are, Godaddy coupons are given out regularly on the web so that users can save some cash when buying domain names or other products at Godaddy.
With that in mind, I thought I’d do a little post on how best to use them.
Godaddy coupon
OYH9: $5 off $30 or more with this coupon
OYH10: $7.45 .COM registration at Godaddy
Obviously, each coupon isn’t complicated, so here’s the deal:
OYH8: This Godaddy code is best for purchases over $50, that aren’t .COMs (see OYH10, below). This includes hosting, servers, email, or anything else. At the $50 mark that this code becomes more powerful than OYH9, below.
For anything between $30 and $50, go for OYH9. Likewise usable for email, SSL certificates, or whatever, but for smaller amounts than $50.
Lastly, OYH10 is probably the best overall. If you’re purchasing a .COM (or several), it’s clearly the way to go. This is particularly true if you’re buying exclusively .COM domain names – $2.50 off an $9.95 registration is better than any of the other available coupons that Godaddy have. The stats I get from Podshow prove this; this code is used way above every other one. Good job people.
Whatever the case, I just wanted to write this to sort of help out and thank those of you that are using the Godaddy codes. There’s obviously a lot of you doing it; a big thank you for that.
If you still don’t find what you want here, try this thread– Godaddy coupon list for 2007 — it should help you out.
